| Access：Take the train bound for Sanda of Kobe Dentetsu at Shinkaichi-station. The fare is 720yen from Shinkaichi-station. About 1hour, get off at Sanda-station(terminal station). At Sanda, take Shinki-bus bound for Miki-eigyousho. About 50 minutes, get off at Nose. 620yen. Walk north-west about 2.1km. You can get to Shakubuji Temple. |

Beautiful colored leaves
Colored leaves are so beautiful and in good contrast with the broadleaf forest and three-storied pagoda at Shakubuji Temple. Around the temple, you can enjoy traditional Japanese autumn village scenery, with straw firing smoke hanging above the rice field. You will feel at home, relaxed and calm. The forest at Shakubuji Temple has a lot of big trees several tens of meters high. The highest tree is a 33 meters high fir, close to the three-storied pagoda. The oldest one is 300 years old.
