Take Kobe City-bus No. 111 bound for Tsukuhara. Get off at "Tsukuhara(Terminal-stop)". 200yen. You can see the house very near.

Old house

This is one of the oldest (around 600 year-old, the age of Muromachi) wooden houses in Japan which was built and owned by common people called the "Hakogi" family. Here, you can see a typical old Japanese house, and learn how roof, pillars, floors, and wood panels were designed and built in the old days. Fee:　Adult 300yen, Child 150yen. Take a bus from Minotani station of Kobe Dentetsu train.
